Congratulations to the San Francisco Bay Area Council for reaching 100 years!

The Oakland Area Council became an official organized Council of the Boy Scouts of America in June 1916 followed closely by the San Francisco Council in January 1917.

The two councils merged to become the San Francisco Bay Area Council in January 1964.
